U.S. and Israel launch a 'major' strike on Iran

Iran was attacked on Saturday by the United States and Israel, with the first apparent strike occurring close to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s headquarters.

Smoke rose from the city, and Iranian media reported strikes around the country.

In a social media video, President Donald Trump declared that the United States has launched “major combat operations in Iran.” He asserted that Iran is still working on its nuclear program and intends to create missiles to U.S.

As the Middle East descends into a security nightmare following US and Israeli attacks on Iran, a missile attack has occurred at the US base in Bahrain. As Iran pledged vengeance for the US-Israeli assaults, the missiles targeted a facility that housed the Fifth Fleet’s headquarters. “A missile attack was launched against the Fifth Fleet’s service center.” Details will be sent to you later,” the Bahrain National Communication Center said in a statement.

In light of escalating tensions with Iran, reports citing satellite imagery indicate that the US Navy has already removed ships from its Bahrain base.
